So far the rookie has been really struggling as a returner in preseason.
There's just no way the Giants coaches can feel comfortable going into a meaningful game with Jernigan back there. Even if he somehow has a big game against the Pats on Thursday, I still can't see the Giants starting him.

Who should we go with, Hixon, Thomas, Reynaud, or someone else?

The likely candidate was Aaron Ross until he became the starter.

Don't know much about Sims, but I have a feeling that the Giants will go back to ol' faithful by using Domenik Hixon once the reg. season games begin.
