Taylor Mays an option at OLB?

Here is an interesting rumour from the combine

The comparisons people are making range for Mays from Thomas Davis to former Trojan Darnell Bing.

With Dallas and Washington playing a 3-4, if the rumours are true, then the two interested NFC East teams would likely be Philly and NYG.

Clint Sintim isn't a great fit as a Tampa2 style OLB

With the extra coverage and mobility required by Tampa2 OLBs, Taylor Mays could be a very good fit at an OLB.

It wouldn't be my favourite move, but it is food for thought.

Actually with Mays's speed I doubt he is considered anything but a DB

Not as a linebacker but maybe fit the Tampa 2 as a pass rusher, which typically uses smaller faster defensive lineman that can get to the QB.

I think if Mays is going to be used as an olb then he will be used on the weakside which isn't the Giants priority.

If mays is being looked at as a lb his stock takes a major hit. It's too much of a gamble IMO. I hope we stay away. Mays has more bing in him then Davis.
