From one Manning back-up to another for Jim Sorgi.

Sorgi was signed to a one year deal.
Must be the shoulder tedanitis that Sorgi suffered last December didn't bother the Giants after all.

Decent signing imo as long as the shouler is fine.

Updating a previous report, Mike Garafolo, of The Star-Ledger, reports New York Giants QB Jim Sorgi's one-year deal is worth around $1.15 million, according to a source.

Mike Garafolo, of The Star-Ledger, reports New York Giants QB Jim Sorgi will have a base salary of $630,000 in 2010. He also received a $175,000 signing bonus, a $50,000 bonus and $150,000 in other bonuses likely to be earned. There is also a $147,500 roster bonus that will be pain in per-game installments.
